About Me
Hello!
My name is Justin McNinch, the creator behind McNinch Media. From a young age, I was fascinated with pictures and film. I loved going to the movies with my family and visiting my grandfather, who was an avid amateur photographer. It’s no surprise that this early passion led me to pursue photography and videography as a career. I hold an Associate’s degree in Photography and Videography from Sierra College and am currently working toward my Bachelor's in Photography. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of exploring a wide range of styles and techniques, which has allowed me to develop a versatile approach to meet the needs of every client.
In addition to traditional photography and videography, I love experimenting with alternative photographic processes. From film photography to techniques like cyanotype, kallitype, and alternative printing processes, I enjoy the creative challenge and the unique, timeless qualities they bring to my work. Exploring these methods not only feeds my artistic side but also allows me to offer clients something truly unique when the project calls for it.
I truly believe that great photography and videography have the power to tell stories, evoke emotions, and elevate a brand or personal experience. Whether it’s capturing the perfect portrait, showcasing the beauty of architecture, or making food look so good you can almost taste it, my goal is always to create images that resonate with the viewer.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with businesses, families, and individuals, building strong, professional relationships with each of them. I’m committed to fast turnaround times, without ever compromising on quality. I want my clients to feel both excited and confident in their decision to work with me, and to know that I’m there every step of the way to ensure we create something special.
From the intimate details of a portrait session to the expansive beauty of architecture, I approach each shoot with a tailored vision. For food photography, I aim to make every dish look irresistible, capturing its texture and color to make people crave it. For portraits, I focus on bringing out the personality and uniqueness of every Individual. And for architectural photography, I want to show the potential of a space—whether it’s a cozy family home or a sleek, modern office building, I aim to tell the story of how a space can be used and appreciated.
Photography and videography are more than just my profession—they’re my passion. There are endless ways to capture an image, and even more ways to enhance and edit it. That’s what makes this work so exciting and fulfilling for me.
